Health officials confirmed 18 COVID-19 fatalities on Saturday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 13,743.
All COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Saturday were over the age of 60 and the Epidemiology Unit states that 76.44% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are from this age group. The 30 to 59 age group accounts for 22.38% of the COVID-19 deaths and the under-30 age group accounts for 1.18% of the fatalities.
10 COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Saturday were male and eight were female. Of the total fatalities, 7,679 are male and 6,064 are female.
