Daily FT-Interbrand International Women’s Day gala

The Daily FT-Interbrand International Women’s Day 2023 gala was held on Friday at the Oakroom of Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.

Billed as an event with a difference to amplify the combined themes of 2023 Women’s Day -“DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality” and “EmbraceEquity” the celebrations drew record participation. Line up of events included top Leadership Forum comprising German multinational and one of the world’s largest medical and pharmaceutical device companies B. Braun’s Sri Lanka and Maldives Managing Director Dr. Nathalie de Dieuleveult, HEINEKEN Lanka Managing Director Maud Meijboom van Wei, Sampath Bank Senior Deputy General Manager International Banking Shashi Kandambi Jassim, Mastercard Sri Lanka Director Mahesha Amarasuriya, Mintpay Co-founder/COO Urmila Chandrasekeram, Sisterhood Initiative Founder Nabeela Iqbal and Young Actor Dinara Punchihewa and a unique curtain raiser featuring the crème de la crème of Sri Lanka’s entertainment.

The event also offered delectable canapés, a gourmet six course, white glove, silver service, sit down dinner, luxury door gifts, and entrance ticket draws with luxury gifts.
