49,179 persons vaccinated against COVID-19

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 49,179 persons on Saturday and 74.45% of the country’s population has received at least one vaccine dose.

Our World in Data states that 64.46% of the population has received the second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 29.3% of the population over 20 years of age has received the booster dose.

The first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 16,007,724 persons and 13,859,887 persons have received the second dose.

The third dose has been administered to 4,319,348 persons. This includes 41,711 persons vaccinated on Saturday. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is being administered as the booster dose.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 2,891 persons received the first dose of Pfizer on Saturday and 89 persons received the second dose. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 1,585,616 persons and the second dose has been administered to 482,111 persons.

The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,978,566 persons and the second dose has been administered to 11,016,010 persons. On Saturday, the first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 1,135 persons and 3,353 persons received the second dose of the vaccine.

A total of 1,479,631 persons have received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 804,801 persons and the second dose has been administered to 787,361 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,812 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
