Twenty COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed on Thursday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 13,449.
Eleven COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday were male and nine fatalities were female. The Epidemiology Unit states that 7,517 of the total fatalities are male and 5,932 fatalities are female.
The COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Thursday include 14 persons over the age of 60, five persons from the 30 to 59 age group, and one person below the age of 30. Epidemiology Unit data shows that 76.54% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are from the over-60 age group, 22.3% of the fatalities are from the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.16% of the fatalities are from the under-30 age group.
