COVID-19 vaccines administered to 10,627 persons

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 10,627 persons on Sunday, the majority of which received the booster dose.

The third dose was administered to 9,081 persons on Sunday and a total of 4,334,126 persons have received the booster dose to date. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is being used for the third dose and 29.6% of the country’s population over 20 years had received the third dose as of 8 January.

According to Our World in Data, 74.46% of the country’s population has received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 64.47% has received the second dose.

Epidemiology Unit data shows that 16,007,724 persons have received the first vaccine dose and 13,859,887 persons have received the second dose as well.

On Sunday, 142 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 218 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, 11,978,822 persons have received the first dose of Sinopharm and 11,016,609 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 979 persons on Sunday and 207 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose of Pfizer has been administered to a total of 1,586,693 persons and the second dose has been administered to 482,322 persons.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and the second dose has been administered to 787,361 persons.

The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,812 persons.
