69,902 persons vaccinated against COVID-19 on Wednesday

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 69,902 persons on Wednesday, with both doses of a vaccine given to 86.3% of the country’s population over the age of 20.

According to Our World in Data, the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 68.53% of the total population and 58.4% has received the second dose as well.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 14,745,130 persons have received the first dose and 12,613,749 persons have received the second dose.

This includes 11,825,884 persons who have received the first dose of Sinopharm and 9,943,712 persons who have received the second dose of the vaccine. On Wednesday, the first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 12,189 persons and the second dose was administered to 51,717 persons.

The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 1,062 persons on Wednesday and 326 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 477,532 persons and the second dose has been administered to 424,741 persons. The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,565 persons, of which 1,327,706 persons have received the second dose as well. On Wednesday, the second dose of AstraZeneca was administered to 4,552 persons.

56 persons received the second dose of Moderna on Wednesday, raising the total number to receive the second dose of the vaccine to 761,998. The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 803,053 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,096 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,592 persons have received the second dose of Sputnik V.
