48 COVID-19 fatalities raise death toll to 3,827

The Health Services Director General on Sunday confirmed 48 COVID-19 deaths, which raised the country’s COVID-19 fatalities to 3,827.

According to the Department of Government Information, 28 persons were male and 20 persons were female. Of the total fatalities, 2,229 persons are male and 1,598 persons are female.

The COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Sunday include 37 persons over the age of 60, 10 persons between ages 30 and 59, and one person below the age of 30.

The Epidemiology Unit stated that 75.05% of the COVID-19 fatalities were above 60 years, 23.68% were between ages 30 and 59, and 1.27% were below age 30.
