COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 16,172 persons on Thursday and 62.9% of the country’s population has received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine to date.
According to Our World in Data, the first dose of a vaccine has been administered to 73.12% of the population. The Epidemiology Unit states that 92.5% of the country’s over-20 population had received both vaccine doses as of 4 November.
The Epidemiology Unit adds that the first dose of a vaccine has been administered to 15,726,331 persons and the second dose has been administered to 13,523,722 persons.
The third dose has been administered to 28,520 persons and it is the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine that is being administered as a booster. On Thursday, 6,596 persons received Pfizer as a booster dose.
In addition to the booster, the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine was administered as a first dose to 7,323 persons and as a second dose to 660 persons on Thursday. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 1,375,728 persons and the second dose has been administered to 443,585 persons.
The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,908,710 persons and the second dose of the vaccine has been administered to 10,731,816. On Thursday, 283 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 1,159 persons received the second dose of the vaccine.
Twenty-six persons received the first dose of Moderna on Thursday and 27 persons received the second dose. In total, the first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 803,152 persons and 782,413 persons have received the second dose of Moderna.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,410,128 persons. On Thursday, 83 persons received the second dose of AstraZeneca.
Fifteen persons received the second dose of Sputnik V, raising the total number of persons to receive the second dose of the vaccine to 155,780. The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons.
