Zero COVID-19 deaths confirmed

Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 death toll remains unchanged at 16,505, after health officials stated that zero COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed on Sunday.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.28% of the total COVID-19 deaths are from the over-60 age group, 22.4% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.31% are from the under-30 age group.

A total of 9,316 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date are male and 7,188 are female.
