Health officials confirmed one COVID-19 fatality on Tuesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 16,486.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.27% of the total COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.41% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.32% are below 30 years. The COVID-19 death confirmed on Tuesday was from the over-60 age group.
A total of 9,303 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date are male and 7,183 are female. The COVID-19 fatality confirmed on Tuesday was female.
