Both COVID-19 vaccine doses administered to over 12 million persons

Over 12 million persons in the country have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine and second dose coverage has risen to 55.67% of the total population.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 82.4% of the over 20 population has received both vaccine doses. A total of 14,639,679 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 12,043,368 persons have received the second dose as well.

On Wednesday, 99,584 persons were vaccinated against COVID-19.

This includes 22,283 persons who received the first dose of Sinopharm and 68,664 persons who received the second dose of Sinopharm. A total of 11,731,737 persons have received the first dose of Sinopharm and 9,508,747 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,477,166 persons, of which 1,288,235 persons have received the second dose. This takes into account the 414 persons who received the first dose and 6,423 persons who received the second dose on Wednesday.

Thirty persons received the second dose of Moderna on Wednesday, raising the total number of persons to receive the second dose of Moderna to 760,950. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 800,998 persons. The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 1,356 persons on Wednesday and 414 persons received the second dose of Pfizer on Wednesday. In total, the first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 470,683 persons and the second dose has been administered to 329,884 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,095 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,552 persons have received the second dose of Sputnik V.
