82 COVID-19 deaths raise total fatalities to 12,530

Health officials on Thursday confirmed 82 COVID-19 fatalities, which raised the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 12,530.

Fifty-one COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Thursday were male and 31 fatalities were female. Of the total fatalities, 7,011 are male and 5,519 are female.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.47% of the total fatalities belong to the over 60 age group, 22.35% belong to the 30-59 age group, and 1.18% belong to the below 30 age group.

The COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Thursday include 61 persons over the age of 60 and 21 persons in the 30-59 age group. Zero deaths occurred in the below 30 age group.
