COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 80,394 persons on Saturday, of which 73,454 persons received a booster dose.
The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is being administered as the booster dose in the country and a total of 928,051 persons have received the third dose.
The first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 15,943,166 persons and the second dose has been administered to 13,763,844 persons.
As of 3 December, 74.13% of the country’s population had received the first dose of a vaccine and 63.99% had received the second dose as well.
On Saturday, 1,377 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 3,613 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to a total of 11,949,566 persons and the second dose has been administered to 10,943,313 persons.
The first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 1,550,058 persons and 463,250 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine. On Saturday, 1,563 persons received the first dose of Pfizer and 347 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. 40 persons received the second dose of Moderna on Saturday, raising the total number of persons to have received the second dose of Moderna to 782,876. The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 804,801 persons.
The Epidemiology Unit states that the first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.
The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and 155,812 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
