Health officials on Thursday confirmed 58 COVID-19 fatalities, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 12,964.
The COVID-19 deaths confirmed yesterday include 48 persons over the age of 60 and 10 persons in the 30 to 59 age group. The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.45% of the total fatalities belong to the over-60 age group, 22.39% belong to the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.15% belong to the under-30 age group. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 7,222 fatalities are male and 5,742 are female. Of the COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Thursday, 31 were female and 27 were male.
