COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 46,664 persons on Saturday and 63.36% of the country’s population has received both vaccine doses.
Our World in Data states that 73.76% of the population has received the first dose. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 15,874,038 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 13,648,423 persons have received the second dose.
Booster shots have been administered to 111,319 persons, with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine being used for the third dose. On Saturday, 5,113 persons received the third dose.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 11,729 persons received the first dose of Pfizer on Saturday and 729 persons received the second dose. In total, 1,502,480 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 450,285 persons have received the second dose.
The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,928,016 persons and the second dose has been administered to 10,841,061 persons. On Saturday, 3,591 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 25,497 persons received the second dose.
Two persons received the first dose of Moderna on Saturday and three persons received the third dose. The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 804,801 persons in total and 782,704 persons have received the second dose as well.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.
The Epidemiology Unit adds that 159,110 persons have received the Sputnik V first dose and 155,780 persons have received the second dose.
