Fifteen COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed by health officials on Saturday and the country’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 13,856.
Twelve COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Saturday were over 60 years of age and three were between 30 and 59 years. The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.47% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over the age of 60, 22.35% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.18% of the fatalities are below 30 years. The Epidemiology Unit adds that 7,733 COVID-19 fatalities are male and 6,123 COVID-19 fatalities are female. Eight COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Saturday were male and seven were female.
