COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 108,573 persons on Thursday and 83% of the country’s population over the age of 20 has received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine to date.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 14,668,211 persons have received the first dose of a vaccine and 12,123,409 persons have received the second dose as well.
This includes 11,756,586 persons who received the first dose of Sinopharm and 9,574,295 persons who received the second dose of Sinopharm. On Thursday, 24,849 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 65,548 persons received the second dose.
The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 927 persons on Thursday and 10,687 persons received the second dose of the vaccine on Thursday. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 471,610 persons, of which 340,571 persons have received the second dose as well.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,477,867 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,292,011 persons. On Thursday, 701 persons received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 3,776 persons received the second dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of Moderna was administered to 2,055 persons on Thursday and the second dose was administered to 30 persons. The first dose of Moderna has been administered to a total of 803,053 persons and the second dose has been administered to 760,980 persons.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,059 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,552 persons have received the second dose.
