Around 38% of total allocations made in the Vote on Account (VoA) presented to the House yesterday have been allocated for Ministries coming under four members of the Rajapaksa family, Opposition MPs charged in Parliament yesterday.
SJB National List MP Eran Wickramaratne said the Government has put total State expenditure at Rs. 947 billion, but has allocated 38% of total funds to the ministries under the President, Prime Minister, Chamal Rajapaksa and Namal Rajapaksa.
SJB Gampaha District MP Harshana Rajakaruna said 38% VoA monies have been allocated to Ministerial portfolios held by four persons.
