People’s Bank Officers Association hosts ‘Abhinandana Pranama 2014’

To recognise and appreciate the outstanding educational skills of the children of People’s Bank Officers Association members, ‘Abhinandana Pranama 2014’ – scholarships awards ceremony was held recently for the 14th consecutive time at the People’s Bank Staff Training College. Scholarships and certificates were awarded to the children of People’s Bank Officers Association, who have excelled at Grade 5 Scholorships, G.C.E (O/L), G.C.E (A/L), London O/L and A/L examinations. The special guest speech at the ‘Abhinandana Pranama 2014’ was delivered by Sabaragamuwa University Senior Lecturer Dr. Haw wea Ming.

The occasion was attended by People’s Bank Chairman Gamini Sedara Senarath, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, N. Vasantha Kumar together with Corporate and Executive Management, People’s Bank Officers Association Chairman /Deputy General Manager (International Banking), Sunil Wanniarachchi, Secretary/Assistant General Manager (Operations) Chandrasiri Fernando together with a large number of association members and their children.
