The IB approach to learning focuses on developing inquirers and critical thinkers, and this approach is harnessed and practiced throughout the entire curriculum. Community service is a big part of this program, helping students to appreciate their situation and contribute in a meaningful, pro-active and engaging manner with others. Students take on the responsibility of developing projects and actions which will sustain and contribute towards their well-being. As such Creativity-Action-Service (CAS) is a core requirement of the IB Diploma and students present their original ideas and actions towards this. The IB Diploma Program is a rigorous two-year course of study which prepares students for higher education and life beyond.
It provides a broad learning which provides the students the opportunity to explore their capabilities and interest and set a path for their future.
Their 2013 class of 35 graduates performed admirably, receiving up to USD 750,000 in university scholarship offers.
Over 200 universities worldwide have access to OSC students.
