Best students at O/Ls get Singer computers

President Mahinda Rajapaksa felicitated students who achieved the top ten results at the GCE Ordinary Level Examination held in 2012, at Temple Trees. A total of eleven children – eight girls and three boys were gifted with the latest model of Singer Notebook Computers powered by Intel Core i3 processors.

The Singer X series computers were installed with licensed Microsoft Windows 8 software, thus helping these students to use the very latest software.

It was noteworthy that Singer X Series Notebook and All-in-One computers have gained leadership among the Sri Lankan households and accounted for over 22.5% of all Notebooks shipped to Sri Lanka in the fourth quarter of 2012 as per IDC, Singapore.
