Serene Pavilions has been awarded a position within the best 25 hotels in Best Relaxation and Spa category in Asia by TripAdvisor.

The Travelers’ Choice Award is the highest honor a hotel can receive from the TripAdvisor community.

It’s based on the reviews and opinions of millions of travelers, and is awarded only to a very select and distinguished group of hotels.  “I am happy with this latest achievement,” Serene Pavilions Deputy Chairman and CEO Anura Lokuhetty said.

“It is also heartening that more international accolades are on Sri Lanka’s way at a time when the country is being categorised one of the Best Destinations of the World,” added Lokuhetty who is also the President of the Tourist Hotels Association of Sri Lanka (THASL).

He said that Serene Pavilions has been able to achieve the latest recognition due to the commitment and dedication of its staff.

“We consider this achievement not only for our hotel but for the entire hotel industry and for Sri Lanka as this kind of recognition will boost up our tourism and to reach our expectation of making Sri Lanka, the Wonder of Asia,” Lokuhetty added.

Last year Serene Pavilions won the Best Luxury Beach Resort Country Award for the second consecutive year from the World Luxury Hotels Awards.

Located in Wadduwa, Serene Pavilions presents 12 highly styled, luxurious pavilions positioned on the West coast offering a new dimension to luxury hospitality on the island.
