 UK. Taking a jump from the corporate world in to the hospitality industry she began her career as the Public Relations, Marketing and Communications Executive at the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo. She is a product of Visakha Vidyalaya and has captained the Swimming team in 2007. She finished her Advanced Levels at Ladies College in 2009.
Today, she takes the role of heading PR and Marketing for Taj Samudra Colombo opening up doors to younger female managers to pursue their dreams in the hospitality trade. She is enthralled by the spread of the Taj Group across the world and their progressive strength in India. For her, the Taj Group means a large spread of experiences in a vibrant work culture, with a myriad of opportunities to learn in depth about the hospitality industry. Also imbibing from the Taj, its heritage and value system to enhance herself as an individual to be able to give back to society some day. She intends to engage on an ever increasing level to gain by learning more from the multitude of hotel experiences that the Taj has to offer across the globe. The 110 year old rich heritage of the Taj is a great motivator by itself and the fact the Indian Hotels Company Ltd. is a part of the very solid Tata Group.
