Kamantha appointed to Ceylon Hotels Corp. board

Kamantha Amarasekera has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Ceylon Hotels Corporation Plc with effect from 27 August 2013. He also serves on the Board of Suisse Hotel Kandy Ltd., a related company to Ceylon Hotels Corp. Amarasekera is an eminent tax consultant and the Senior Tax and Legal Partner of Amarasekera and Company, a leading tax consultancy firm. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and is an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court. He graduated in business administration from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura. Amarasekera is also a Director of Associated CEAT Ltd., Lanka Milk Foods (CWE), Madulsima Plantations, Balangoda Plantation, Eden Hotels, Confifi Hotels Holdings, Finco Holding Ltd., Browns Investment, Hydropower Freelanka, Freelanka Capital Holdings, Palm Garden Hotels and Environmental Resource Plc.
