Amaya Leisure Plc has divested an 84% stake in The Beach Resorts Ltd., earmarked for a hotel in Wadduwa to Dhammika Perera for Rs. 330.1 million.
The move is to rationalise the investment portfolio of the company.
The valuation of the property has been carried out by an independent valuer P. B. Kalugalagedera and Associates to ascertain the fair value. The divestiture was disclosed to the market as a related party transaction. Perera is a common director of both Amaya Leisure and The Beach Resorts Ltd.
