Aliya Resort & Spa celebrates two years

Aliya Resort and Spa, Sigiriya celebrated its two year anniversary this December. Staying true to the resort’s tasteful and charming ambience, the celebrations included a pirith ceremony and other religious observances in the presence of Theme Resorts and Spas Chairman Chandra Wickramasinghe, management and staff, dignitaries and many well wishers.

As a part of its continuous dedication towards environmental conservation Aliya was host to the 19th International Forestry and Environmental Symposium in October this year with the participation of  the Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy.

Aliya is also one of the selected few local resorts which has had the privilege of being honoured with both ISO22000:2005 and HACCP certification for the food safety and management systems maintained.
