VietJet Air yesterday officially marked the opening of its Colombo office at a special ceremony inaugurated by Vietnam Ambassador to Sri Lanka Trinh Thi Tam.
The airline’s operations in Sri Lanka will be represented by its General Sales Agent (GSA) Andrew The Aviation Company Ltd., under the leadership of its Chairman Mahen Kariyawasan.
The Colombo office will serve as a key point for passenger services, trade partnerships, travel agent support and operational coordination in Sri Lanka.
VietJet Air is expected to further enhance connectivity between the two countries while promoting tourism, trade and cultural exchanges.

Addressing the ceremonial opening, Ambassador Tam highlighted the growing relations between Vietnam and Sri Lanka and welcomed the expansion of VietJet Air’s presence in the Sri Lankan market.
