Galle Face Hotel recently had the privilege of welcoming acclaimed British actress and humanitarian advocate Rosamund Pike during her visit to Sri Lanka, a journey that also drew attention to the continuing global effort towards a future free from landmines and unexploded ordnance.

Since 2021, Pike has served as the first official Ambassador for MAG (Mines Advisory Group), supporting its work to clear landmines and unexploded ordnance and helping raise awareness of their lasting impact on communities.
