Kuruwitaarachchi elected to Board of United Federation of Travel Agents Association

The United Federation of Travel Agents Association (UFTAA) has announced the election of Duminda Kuruwitaarachchi to its esteemed Board during the recent Extraordinary General Assembly and Annual General Assembly. 

Kuruwitaarachchi, the President of the Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL) and Managing Director of Travel Outlook Ltd., brings over 27 years of entrepreneurial experience in the travel industry to his new role.

This appointment marks only the third time a Sri Lankan representative has been elected to the Board of UFTAA, signifying the growing influence and expertise of professionals from the region on the global stage.

With a diverse background in airline revenue management, modern marketing, and human resources, along with academic achievements including an MBA and ongoing PhD pursuit, Kuruwitaarachchi is uniquely positioned to contribute invaluable insights and strategic direction to UFTAA. His leadership within TAASL and his role as the founder of Travel Outlook exemplify his dedication to advancing the travel industry.

Kuruwitaarachchi is a seasoned Entrepreneur and Managing Director with a career spanning back to 1995. As the founder of Travel Outlook, a Destination Management Company (DMC), he has pioneered comprehensive travel solutions globally, specialising in corporate and group holiday packages, group incentive tours, and inbound tourism that highlights the best of Sri Lanka. Apart from his business endeavours, Kuruwitaarachchi serves as the President of TAASL and is actively involved in shaping the future of the travel industry in Sri Lanka and beyond.
