HNB Assurance and HNB General Insurance kickstart 2022 on a high note

HNB Assurance PLC (HNBA) and HNB General Insurance Ltd. (HNBGI), kickstarted 2022 on a positive note, celebrating many milestones achieved in 2021. The highlight of the celebration was the appointment of Lasitha Wimalaratne as Chief Executive Officer of HNB Assurance PLC and Sithumina Jayasundara as Chief Executive Officer of HNB General Insurance Ltd.

The First Working Day event of HNBA and HNBGI was graced by the presence of the Group’s Chairperson, Rose Cooray, the newly appointed CEOs, members of the Executive Committee and other distinguished guests.

Both HNBA and HNBGI ended the year on a positive note and have put in place effective customer-centric strategies for 2022 to take both businesses to new heights, seizing new markets with high growth potential. Both Life and General Insurance businesses remain focused on taking care of its customers by delivering value as well as superlative returns to all its stakeholders and building both businesses through innovation, technology transformation and agile business practices.
