Marking World Environment Day, Taj Samudra, Colombo reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability by organising a King Coconut sapling planting ceremony within the hotel premises. The initiative was led by Taj Maldives and Sri Lanka Area Director –and Taj Samudra General Manager Samrat Datta, together with the hotel’s associates representing various departments. In keeping with the spirit of collective environmental responsibility, in-house guests were also invited to participate in the ceremony, creating a meaningful opportunity to contribute towards a greener future. The initiative reflects Taj Samudra’s ongoing dedication to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship, encouraging both associates and guests to play an active role in preserving the planet for future generations.
