Daiki Axis Sri Lanka has cemented its position as a sustainability pioneer in the nation’s construction and environmental sectors, earning dual recognition from the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka (GBCSL) at its Annual Green Building Awards Ceremony held on 11 December 2025 at BMICH in Colombo.

The company was awarded an Honourable Mention for Green Business Leadership of the Year 2025 in the Construction Materials and Products Sector, acknowledging its consistent efforts to advance eco-friendly building solutions and champion sustainable practices across Sri Lanka’s infrastructure landscape.

In a landmark achievement, Daiki Axis also became the first and only wastewater treatment provider in Sri Lanka to receive GREENS Label certification for its advanced Johkasou systems, the XH and BAE models. Certified under Category 2 of the GREENS Labelling System (Version 2.0) for Sustainable Building Materials and Products, this distinction underscores the environmental integrity, performance, and innovation behind Daiki Axis’s technology.

The GREENS certification, valid for three years, permits the company to display the GBCSL’s official green label, a trusted mark of compliance with rigorous national standards for sustainability and environmental impact. This milestone not only validates the company’s commitment to green engineering but also aligns with Sri Lanka’s broader goals for sustainable urban development and climate resilience.

Further demonstrating its long-standing dedication to the green building movement, Daiki Axis Sri Lanka holds Platinum Membership with the GBCSL, the highest tier of recognition for organisations that actively drive and support sustainable construction in the country.

“Receiving these honours from the Green Building Council is a proud moment for our entire team,” said the Daiki Axis Sri Lanka Head. “It affirms our mission to deliver cutting-edge, environmentally responsible wastewater solutions rooted in proven Japanese technology. We believe that protecting Sri Lanka’s water resources and ecosystems is not just a responsibility, it’s an opportunity to build a cleaner, healthier future for generations to come.”

Daiki Axis’s compact, decentralised wastewater treatment systems are already making a tangible difference across residential, commercial, and industrial projects nationwide. Known for their reliability, low environmental footprint, and ease of integration, these systems support improved sanitation while conserving precious water resources.

The company extended its gratitude to the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka, the GREENS Accreditation Board, and its network of partners for their collaborative support in advancing sustainable infrastructure.

As Sri Lanka intensifies its focus on climate-smart development, Daiki Axis Sri Lanka said it stands as a model of how innovation, international expertise, and local commitment can converge to power a greener, more resilient nation.
