Peshawar (ANI): Former captain, Younus Khan, has expressed a desire to lead the Pakistan cricket team again, as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started its search for a player to replace Misbah-Ul Haq.
“I will definitely consider any such offer from the PCB,” Younus told The Express Tribune.
At 76 not out, Younus wants to play 100 Tests before hanging up his boots.I will retire after playing 100 Tests,” he said. “But it all depends on my performance and fitness.”
Younus, who led Pakistan to the 2009 World Twenty20 title and the Champions Trophy semi-final later that year, resigned from captaincy after the home series against New Zealand in the UAE, claiming he was not getting support from team members.
