Virat Kohli and Indian Cricket Team at Taj Samudra

The Indian Cricket Team received a very warm welcome at the Taj Samudra on the evening of 3 August. Virat Kohli, Captain of the Indian Cricket Team, and his teammates were welcomed by traditional Sri Lankan dancers and fresh flowers at the lobby.

The Taj Samudra, Colombo is the official hotel for Sri Lanka Cricket and will host the team during their stay in Colombo. The Indian Cricket Team is scheduled to play a tour match and three Test matches.

The tour will start with a three-day warm-up game against Sri Lanka Chairman’s XI, followed by three Test matches. The Test matches will be played at Galle, P Sara Oval, and SSC Colombo.
