Royal Colombo Golf Club elects new General Committee for 2016/2017

The 137th Annual General Meeting of Royal Colombo Golf Club was held on 29 March, in the Main Restaurant, RCGC. A new Committee was appointed for the year 2016/2017.

Priath Fernando took over as President from his predecessor Johnny De Saram whilst duties of Captaincy of the Club were handed over to Primal Wijayanayake by Immediate Past Captain Ranil Pieris. Ranil Pathirana was appointed the Vice Captain.

Office Bearers and Committee Members for the ensuing year were unanimously elected as follows;

Michael De Alwis (Sec. Greens), Jehaan Ismail (Sec. F&B), Navin De Silva (Sec. Infra & Clubhouse Development), Saneth Gamage (Treasurer), Chandima Desinghe (Committee Member), W.A.K. Fernando (Committee Member), Milinda Ratnayake (Committee Member), Manoj Algama (Committee Member), Sunil wUdalagama (Committee Member), Avanka Herath (Committee Member) and Rohith Silva (Committee Member).
