Prominent corporate entities and institutions step forward to sponsor ISAC 2016

At a media gathering, several prominent corporate entities and institutions generously contributed sponsorships for the International Schools’ Athletic Championships (ISAC) 2016.

The event was attended by ISAC 2016 Chairman and the Lyceum Group of Schools Coordinating Principal Kumari Grero, ISAC 2016 Director General Palitha Jayathilake, Lyceum Group of Schools Director Nikitha Grero, the esteemed sponsors and the organising staff of ISAC 2016.

Addressing the gathering, N. Grero said: “An event of this size and nature teaches our international school children the true sport of sportsmanship. This event will not be possible if not for our sponsors.”

Pramila Paulraj, Regional Director and representative of Pearson Edexcel, the Principal Sponsor of ISAC 2016, said: “It is indeed a privilege for Pearson Edexcel to be a sponsor at this event yet again.. ISAC is one of the key events in Edexcel’s events calendar and we are pleased to partner Lyceum International School Nugegoda to organise this event.”

McDonald’s Sri Lanka, which joined as the Co-Sponsor of ISAC 2016, was represented at the event by McDonald’s Sri Lanka Director Udaya Wijesuriya. “It’s been great to be an ISAC sponsor,” he said while thanking Lyceum International School Nugegoda for offering them the opportunity.

Ceylon Biscuits Ltd. under the brand name Ritzbury Revello joined as a special sponsor of the event and was represented by

CBL Group Manager Marketing Theja Peiris, while Lanka Pradeep, Head of Web Development, represented Wijeya Newspapers Ltd., the official print and media sponsor.

Mobitel Marketing Manager Indika Amarasuriya and Edu Geek Manager Aamir Arshad, general sponsors of ISAC 2016, also attended the event. The event was concluded after Kumari Grero accepted the generous contributions of the sponsors towards ISAC 2016.

The event will also be supported by Special sponsors Lyceum Careers and Higher Education and Soltrim and General sponsors Hidramani Group and Malaysian Educational Application, and will be held from 4 to 6 March at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Diyagama.
