MOBIL Brand Ambassadors shine at Mahagastota Hill Climb

MOBIL Brand Ambassadors – Dinesh Jayawardana, Ashan Silva, Dilan Seneviratne and female driver Shehara Jayawardana, continued to impress motor racing enthusiasts with podium finishes at the Mahagastota Hill Climb Motor Races which concluded recently. In the Formula Modified category Ashan Silva claimed victory with Dilan Seneviratne being placed in 3rd position, whilst Dinesh Jayawardana was placed 2nd with a close fight to the Course Record in the SL-GT up to 3500cc category, with Shehara Jayawardana coming in 2nd in the SLN 1000 category. The Mahagastota Hill Climb celebrates its landmark 80th anniversary this year with a resurfaced track. The McLarens Group has powered and looked into the safety aspects with more safety fences being established to ensure that competitor’s safety is enhanced, in addition to track side curbing.
