MCA “F” Division 25 Over League tourney kicks off

The MCA “F” division 25 –Over League Tournament 2016 with the participation of 36 teams in 6 groups got off to a start a fortnight ago.

Debutants, CMA – CGM Containers made a memorable entrance into Mercantile Cricket when they scored a thrilling 2 wicket win over Asia Capital.

Opening week-ends top team score was by Union Bank – 201/7 in 25 overs against Brandix Essentials “B”, the lowest came from MAC Holdings – 77 all out in 16.5 overs against MAS Active “C” ;

The top individual scorer was Sameera Fernando from Interpharm (82 not out in 74 balls inclusive of 02 sixes & 08 fours Vs.Hiradaramani ) & the best bowling from Chameera Dilshan from MAS Active “C” ( 6 for 15 in 05 overs including a maiden Vs. MAC Holdings)
