Kenyan trio reign in Colombo Marathon

It was Kenya all the way at the 10th International Colombo Marathon held on October 3rd.  Three athletes from that country–Kimutai, Titus and Kiptoo overcame stiff competition from over 2500 runners including 103 foreign athletes from 16 countries to finish in the top three, living upto the East African nations’ reputation for producing world class long distance runners, such as the legendary Henry Rono. The Colombo Marathon was organised by leading tour operator Lanka Sports Reisen (LSR) and supported by SriLankan Airlines, Sri Lanka Tourism and Ministry of Sports.
