Kandy SC to participate at West Asia Club Champions League 2016

Defending league and Clifford Cup champions Kandy Sports Club will once again participate at the West Asia Club Championship League 2016 which will be hosted in UAE at the Exiles Club and Saracens Club in early September this year.

Kandy who were runners-up in the championship in UAE last year will feature a strong outfit for this year’s event. The Gulf will field two teams for this event and a few players from Kandy SC will join in UAE soon after their Asian Rugby Sevens 2016 first leg in Hong Kong.

Proposed schedule: 2 Sept – Gulf 1 v Gulf 2, 6 Sept – Gulf 2 v Kandy SC, 9 Sept – Gulf 1 v Kandy SC
