When the January Pin Fernando Grand Prix teed off, at the Royal Golf club yesterday, the 42-year-old veteran Golfer, M. Amarapadma shot two under par 69, to take one shot lead over the other veteran Golfer M. Arumugam and Sri Lanka Golfer, 24-year-old Vijitha Bandara both of whom shot a one under par 70 to be in joint second place.

M. Amarapadma had six birdies, eight pars and four bogies in his round on the way to his 69.
