HSBC Premier Golf Tournament to Tee off this weekend in Nuwara Eliya

The annual HSBC Premier Golf Tournament will Tee off at the picturesque Nuwara Eliya Golf Club on 9 and 10 September.

The tournament is being held for the fourth successive year, and as customary will hold a pre-event challenge where golfers will have the exciting task of facing ‘The Ultimate Bunker Challenge’ played under lights at 6 p.m. on 9 September.

This year’s tournament is expected to rally a large number of golf enthusiasts to compete for the HSBC Premier Challenge Trophy and a chance to witness the HSBC WGC Champions Golf Tournament, scheduled to take place in Shanghai, China from 25 to 31 October. The tournament will be followed by an awards ceremony held on 10 September.
