Hisham Abdeen Rugby Football Academy completes 5 years

By Shamseer Jaleel The annual rugby extravaganza organised by the Hisham Abdeen Rugby Football Academy (HARFA) took place on 4 and 5 October at the Havelocks Sport Club rugby grounds for the fifth year running

The event attracted more than 600 schoolboys taking part in exhibition and tournament matches in age groups ranging from Under 10 to Under 20. The Over 35 year tournament, featuring many former rugby players, was won by Old Kingswoodians. The Over 45 contest went to the Old Royalists. The Chief Guest at the occasion, Delta Aviation Director and HARFA Patron Jan Vlaskamp gave away the awards. Under 14 Cup - HARFA Green Runner-up - Ananda Plate - D.S.
