Havies win Rugby 7s

Havelock SC yesterday won the Dialog Inter-Club Rugby 7s, beating CH and FC in the final s31-14 after trouncing the heavyweights Kandy SC 14-5 at the Racecourse ground. Havies were runner up last year. Earlier on Havelock SC chalked up massive wins in the Pool ‘A’ category defeating Air Force ‘C, Navy Sea Horse and Police by margins of over 50 points to top the group. The Inter-Club Rugby 7s conducted by the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union (SLRFU) and sponsored by Dialog was contested by 16 teams.
