Friendly between Pakistan Army Hockey Team and MHA today

An invitation match between the Mercantile Hockey Association (MHA) team and the visiting Pakistan Army Hockey Team will be played today at the Colombo Astro Turf at 4.00 p.m.

Major General Shavendra Silva, a sportsman himself and a great supporter of hockey, will be Chief Guest for the event.

The MHA team comprises of Udesh De Silva, Amila Perera, Nuwan Mahara, Rasika Wickremasinghe, and Shahied Hussain from HNB; Captain Anju Hewage, Milan Ariyawanse, Milinda Sapugasgoda, Milina Bandaranayake, Videsh Dissanayake, and Harith Sachinda from Commercial Bank; Buwaneka Parahitiyawa, and Diluka Weerasooriya from Sampath Bank; Gihan Peiris from Janashakthi Insurance, M. Irshad from Seylan Bank, Akalanka Nishan from Singer Sri Lanka, Charaka Wickremage from MAS Holdings, R. A. P. Probodha from Brown & Company, Abishek Devadas from NTB and Sanjaka De Silva from HSBC.

The visiting Pakistan team comprises of Lieutenant Colonel Sadaf Akram, Major Sayed Ghayoor Ali Hamdani, Sepoy Muhammad Abbas, Naik Irfan Ullah, Sepoy Waseem Tariq, Sepoy Awais Zahid, Sepoy Noman Khan Khanzada, Lance Naik Arshad Masih, Sepoy Muhammad Zeeshan, Sepoy Habib Ur Rehman, Sepoy Iftikhar Ahmed, Sepoy Muhammad Afzal, Sepoy Muhammad Yasir, Sepoy Muhammand Zubair, Sepoy Sajid Rasheed, Sepoy Adnan Asif, Sepoy Muhammad Salman Shahid, Lance Naik Abdul Jabbar, Naik Muzammal Haq, and Havildar Qazi Muhamman Akhlaq.
