Former Trinity College, Sri Lanka ‘A’, SSC and national pool cricketer Samantha Dodanwela was re-elected as the Chairman of SSC for the fifth consecutive year.

Dodanwela also played cricket for the Central Province and Kandy CC teams and played league cricket in England soon after leaving school. He played alongside several top cricketers at Trinity College such as Channa Fernando, Dudeepa Ratwatte, Chaminda Unantenna, Romesh Jayawardena, Denam Madena and Mevan Balalle to name a few.
