The annual cricket encounter which is organised by the Institute of Certified Management Accou-ntants of Sri Lanka (CMA) Students Guild took place at Shalika Grounds on Monday, 8 September.
Fourteen teams took part and the team from Commercial Credit & Finance PLC emerged the winners and received the Founder President Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala Trophy. The runner-up was Red Wolves, a student team.
There was wide interest about the tournament in the business community. In addition to Commercial Credit & Finance PLC five other corporate teams took part.
The object of the Student Guild is to provide an opportunity to CMA students to engage in sports activities and to encourage interaction and networking.
Chief Guest CMA Council Member Ruchira Perera and Guest of Honour CMA Vice President Basheer Ismail gave away the trophies and medals to winners.
