Cinnamon Lakeside wins travel trade badminton tournament

In a spectacular performance, the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo Women’s Badminton Team emerged Champions of the Travel Trade Badminton Tournament, unseating fifteen time champion Sri Lankan Airlines.

The tournament was held on 29th January 2012 at St. Thomas’ College Indoor Stadium. Women's Most Outstanding Player - Ravihari De Silva of Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo

Captained by Gayani Dissanayake, the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo team also comprised Ravihari De Silva, Nayomi Amarasinghe, Shehani Izzadeen and Samanthi Peiris.

Ravihari De Silva of the Marketing & Communications team at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo took home the award for the Women’s Most Outstanding Player.
