Cinnamon Lakeside Clinches John Keells Group Inter Company Football Championship 2012

Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo beat Leisure Inbound, in a thrilling final encounter of the Inter Company Soccer Tournament 2012 held recently at the CH & FC grounds.

The Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo team remained undefeated throughout the tournament to meet Leisure Inbound in the finals, beating them 2-1 goals.

The team led by Viraj Ayeshmantha put on a magnificent football showdown, while the goalkeeper of the team Mohan Mudliar of the laundry department added momentum to the winning streak, bagging the Most Outstanding Goalie of the Tournament title, conceding just one goal in five matches.

The winning team comprised Viraj Ayeshmantha (Captain), Mohan Mudliar (Goalkeeper), P.S. Chanaka, Ajith Prasanna, Revin Kumar, U.V. Nishantha, W.N. Nishantha, T. Clarance, Tharindu Wimalarathne and M. Hussain.
