AMW beats Hemas; to meet Delmege tomorrow

Associated Motorways Ltd., (AMW) recently beat Hemas Holdings in the third match of the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) Tournament 2014/15 by six wickets at Thurston College Grounds. Hemas batting first scored 210 for the loss of 10 wickets in 39.3 overs. AMW scored 211 for four in 36 overs. In bowling AMW’s Ashen Fonseka excelled with 4 for 66, Asela Wewelwala 2 for 42 and Amila Chanaka 2 for 31. In batting Asela Wewwlwala scored 76 whilst Padmanath Perera was unbeaten 73. AMW will meet Delmege tomorrow (Sunday 22 February at Panagoda Amry Grounds)
